Transitions
My first ever LNT®
Therapy session Was helping a friend’s mother Move peacefully to heaven. Her body and mind Were invaded by disease Which impeded her aging With grace and ease,
Lewy body dementia Was at the stern, Thus each moment for family Became a real concern.
Her session I planned, From a distance with hope, For Source to accompany her, Help her loved ones cope, Although she was already On palliative care, Her illness was tormenting her And those who were near, Though once her
LNT® Therapy began,
Some peace ensued Which was the plan. Her treatment short Marking two more days, Her golden ticket arrived To my amaze On the very date Her LNT® session ended, She quietly passed away No longer demented. I’ve accompanied others During their final transition, Feeling their peace And that of their living, On the very last days Of a friend from the past, She welcomed the connection Though gone too fast, The cancer had spread rampant By the time we touched base, Though not able to erase The beautiful smile from her face, She serenely discussed Her complete faith in a next life Then left this world calmly, A mother, a wife. The family of a woman With cancer that metastasized Requested my help also As they sat at her bedside, Sent home with meds So she would not suffer, Once sessions began The nurse said she was like no other, For the pain medication Was not needed at high dose, She was at ease and alert, Conscious of her last days, unlike most, Her loved ones relieved When into a coma she slipped Without further suffering, Accompanied by loving energy–a gift.
Another her chances Of survival where so slim That the doctors suggested Her son should fly in, "Say goodbye," they advised Each evening with care, "Tomorrow," they said, "Your mother won’t be here." But with her daily sessions In the ICU, She began to respond Though not expect to, And the out-of-control Autoimmune disease ceased Its grips on her life, From coma she was released, She lived three full months, Eventually went home To make her peace And plans for when gone, Her loved ones and friends Feeling somewhat comforted, Bid her farewell, Nothing gone unsaid. There are others that spark A touching, tender memory Knowing they have transitioned Accompanied by Source energy, Bringing mind and soul Peace at the end Even though the physical body Could not fully mend.
