Become

Become

I see your pain,

Your fear and need,

I want to help,

To plant the seed

Of desire and hope

For your own well-being,

Appreciate and acknowledge

Thoughts which are freeing.

I hear your words

Of discomfort and hurt,

I’d love to provide

The reason to convert

Your wish in belief

That relief is real,

Give you reason,

Watch you heal.

I notice your struggle

On many days

And hope you learn

There’s another way

To nourish and care

For your body and mind,

Embrace self peace,

Spread more in kind.

I feel your doubt

That change could be,

Conflicting thoughts

That don’t agree

With status quo

Fill your mind,

I understand,

Hope conviction you’ll find.

I sense your want

For a life of more,

To create opportunities,

Open the door

To balance and harmony,

A life of true quality

Where learning and growing

Become the priority.

I embrace your journey,

Each step and leap,

Your unique path

Which is personal and deep,

Moving you forward

Towards that knowing

Of what could be,

Possibilities exploding.

I observe and await,

Always ready to serve

With open arms,

Knowing you deserve

Choice and opportunity

To flow your way,

Set your own pace

As you invent each day.

I rejoice in your light

Flickering within,

Am grateful to see

It does not dim,

Yet grows to shine

So steady and strong,

In your firm belief,

Attuned to a new song.

Understand

Understand

I understand

But then I don’t,

Why some will try

And others won’t.

I understand

Each has their path,

Though I want to shout,

“Just trust the math!”

I understand

It’s not for all

But wonder why

They don’t hear the call.

I understand

It’s hard to believe,

So results are discarded

When thoughts are preconceived?

I understand

Some have a fear

Though wish they knew

It’s easy to clear.

I understand

Views are subjective

But hope solutions

Aren’t outrightly rejected.

I understand,

Yet then again,

It makes me question

Why more aren’t open.

I understand,

Though not at all,

How logic works

To maintain this wall.

I understand

The need so well

But not the reason

It’s unwelcome to tell.

I understand

It’s a question of time

Though my knowing says

The moment is prime.

I understand

It’s hard to grasp

For we’re taught to believe

Reality we must clasp.

I understand,

Not really though,

Since it’s all quite simple,

We innately know.

I understand

Yet still I ponder

The reason why

Others don’t wonder.

I understand,

I really do,

For that was me

Before I knew.
